Information and Costings

Interested in a Place

We welcome enquiries from schools, local authorities, SEN teams, professionals and families.

You don't need to know exactly which programme is right.

Tell us about the young person and what you would like the placement to achieve.

How It Works

  1. Enquire
Tell us about the learner and their current needs.
  2. Share Information
We review relevant information, including EHCPs and risk assessments where applicable.
  3. Visit
Where appropriate, the young person visits, meets the team and experiences the environment.
  4. Agree the Programme
We agree sessions, intended outcomes and funding with the commissioner.
  5. Start
We focus first on settling in, relationships and successful engagement.

Every placement is individually commissioned to reflect the young person's needs, programme and level of support required.

How Costings Are Calculated

Our fees are based on the individual needs of each learner and may vary depending on:

  • The level of staffing and support required
  • Whether 1:1 provision is needed
  • EHCP or additional SEND requirements
  • Looked After Child (LAC) or Post-Exclusion (PEX) placements
  • The number of sessions commissioned
  • Qualification delivery and assessment requirements

We are happy to discuss bespoke packages with schools and local authorities to ensure each young person receives the right level of support.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements or request a personalised quotation.

If a student is with us for 5 sessions a week we will support the reintegration back into mainstream school through:

  • Attending any meetings in school
  • Continued communication with school and family
  • Frequent visits to the school to monitor the students progress

Mitsy

ELSA

Mitsy is our much-loved Pomeranian and a very special member of The River Bourne Edge team. Nearly two years old, she has an incredible ability to bring out the best in our students, helping them feel calm, safe and connected. She has even helped some of our non-verbal students find their voice and communicate. Mitsy loves a belly tickle and takes her role as site greeter very seriously, barking when someone new arrives and enthusiastically saying goodbye when anyone leaves! She isn’t particularly interested in toys, but she loves attention, cuddles and being part of life at The Edge.
