The River Bourne Edge is based on the River Bourne Community Farm CIC and we serve the local community

The River Bourne Edge is an alternative provision with a restorative ethos, situated on a beautiful community farm. We are dedicated to providing an alternative educational experience where every student is known, valued, and inspired to achieve their best.

Our provision is for secondary age students and places relationships at the heart of learning. We believe that every student is unique and our approach is designed to meet the individual needs of each learner. Our dedicated team of educators work closely with students to build meaningful relationships that inspire confidence and a love of learning. We offer two sessions to meet the needs of all students who are disengaged with mainstream education, both aimed at fostering academic success and personal growth. Parent of a year 10 student

"My son has only been coming to the edge for a few weeks and he is thriving, we are having less outbursts, he is happier in himself, he engages more in his learning and is starting to listen better. He tells me everything he does and is a lot more patient. Overall everything is a lot more happier and positive! I’m shocked to see the change so quickly! This is definitely the place for my son to thrive - I would definitely recommend the River Bourne Edge."
